Technology
Write about a device, application, program, etc. you wish helped to track your health.
I have a good electronic tracking system that’s been working for a few years, so I don’t have any wishes for that. However, I have often thought of technological advancements that could make living with chronic pain a lot easier. No matter how diligent my preparations, something I need during an attack is often hard to find or out of reach. My family is great about getting me what I need, but they are not always around.
In the middle of an attack, I often find myself longing for the power of a magic wand and the simple Harry Potter-inspired spell “Accio!” Barring supernatural powers, a Star Trek-inspired tractor beam or a voice-activated robot servant would be nice. Which would you prefer?
- Accio, ice pack!
- Computer, bring me an ice pack.
